How to print on the Hood of a Hoodie with your Brother GT-541 Digital Garment Printer

With the Brother GT-541 you can print a variety of substrates and locations. In our effort to showcase what can be done with digital garment printers we took our Brother GT-541 inkjet garment printer and got the idea of printing on hoods...and why not? We print everything else, why not the hood? And that lead us to the pictures you see here in this article.

Printing the Hood
What in the world possessed us to print on the hood of a sweatshirt? I am not really sure, except that we wanted to see what we could do with the Brother GT-541and because we were adventurous (and wanted additional revenue outlets that were more profitable. So, We devised a way to do it and it worked - as can bee seen by our photos here to the left.

Other Opportunities
Now, this leads you to a variety of opportunities on what you can print. Check out the other graphic of the eagles printed on the hoodies. This came out incredible and was actually our first test print. We ended up printing both sides of the hood and it looked just awesome as you can see.

How was this done?
Well, let's say we were creative. These and many other ideas are going to be coming soon to a board near you. With the GT-541 you can print a variety of things and once you learn how it isn't that hard, but you do need to think things through. That's what we are planning on doing more with additional items here in the the near future - so hang on. We will be unveiling a whole school on this type of printing here in the near future...

Thinking Outside the Screen Frame
So, as I have been telling everyone that I talk to about inkjet garment printing technology is that you have to think outside of the box (or in this case - outside the screen frame). You could print school mascots, names, pictures - just about anything AND GET A PREMIUM PRICE FOR THE PRINT.
