Newest GT-541 Print Driver (updated Ver 2.0.6) - Updated 4/22/08! - If you lost your cd for installing the print driver you will always find the most up to date version right here! This version will allow you an option to select the Baby Platen (7x8) layout in the menu as well as normal 14x16 and Youth 10x12 platens. Also GTCRSpeed.exe for adjusting carriage speed is newly installed.
Latest GT-541 Machine Update(Updates to 4.06) GT-541 ver. 4.06 is mainly designed to display 5 languages on the Control Panel. Additionally the confirmation to exchange the wiper cleaner and to clean the caps/wiper appears when the new black ink cartridge is inserted. If you are the owner of the former versions (especially under 2.00), please upgrade now because the main board may be damaged in the long run.
Color Profile Exchanger for New Yellow Ink GC-51Y - The new GC-51Y is brighter than GC-50Y, so please update your Color Prifiles too not to make your artwork all yellowish. It may take several minutes to download this tool "GT Profile Exchanger". Download the "GTProfileExchanger.exe" on your PC, read Read Me instruction and run by doubleclick. IF YOU ARE USING THE GC-51Y Yellow inks, which most people are, Run this util and make sure that it has the GC-51Y selected and not the GC-50Y.

This application is for adjusting carriage speed when you are requested from the technical service. Adjust the carriage speed after you clean the carriage shafts (see 7-2-9. Cleaning the Carriage Shafts in Instruction Manual). Download the "GTCRSpeed.exe" on your PC and run by doubleclick.
If you have time, we recommend downloading the new Printer Driver ver. 2.0.6 (in the top of this page). Then this application is installed in Brother GT-Tools.
